Your data rights
These are the rights in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Use either WhatsApp number. The identifier we can match is the phone number you message from.
Access
Ask what details from your chat are being used for a booking, and for what purpose. The reply will repeat this contact.
Correction and erasure
Ask for a wrong detail to be corrected, or for the booking details you sent to be erased. Erasure applies to details held for the booking. It does not delete the WhatsApp chat from WhatsApp's own systems.
Nomination
You may name another adult who can exercise these rights if you die or cannot act. Send that person's name and phone number in the same chat.
Withdraw consent
Write that you withdraw consent. The details will not be used for a new booking.
A grievance about these rights goes to the grievance page. The notice of what is collected is the privacy notice.
How to exercise rights
Message either WhatsApp number from the phone you used before, or state that you are writing on behalf of someone else with their consent. The practice matches requests using that phone number because the site form does not store a database of bookings.
Children and family bookings
When parents book an anusthan for a child, the parent’s chat is the contact record. Ask for correction if names in sankalp were mistyped before the visit day.
Retention
Details are kept only as long as needed to arrange the visit you asked for, then handled per the privacy notice. Withdrawing consent means new booking details will not be used; it does not delete the WhatsApp thread itself.
