Vidyarambh

विद्यारंभ संस्कार

The rite

Vidyarambh is the first writing ceremony where a child traces om or letters in rice with guru or pandit blessing. Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma conducts North Indian vidyarambh at Bengaluru homes on Basant Panchami or a chosen school-start day without promising admission to a specific school.

Before the visit, clear a clean floor or table space, stack samagri from the WhatsApp list in one place, and keep drinking water ready for elders. Share gate code, parking notes, and society rules when you message so setup is calm across Bengaluru traffic.

Time at the house: 1–2 hours

Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma does this at the house in Bengaluru. The fee is not printed on this page. It is sent on WhatsApp with the material list.

Why families book it

Preschool interviews stress parents; this ritual is separate calm moment for the child.

Blesses learning path; literacy still needs teachers and practice.

Elders and children may sit nearby; the pandit pauses for brief Hindi notes so guests know when to offer flowers, ghee, or responses during mantras.

Share gotra, names, and your Bengaluru locality on WhatsApp so travel and samagri are confirmed before the day. The appointment form opens WhatsApp only; this page does not store your message.
