Nakshatra Shanti
नक्षत्र शांति
The rite
Nakshatra shanti anusthan is prayer for the birth star the family names in sankalp, with jap and havan at home. The pandit does not calculate nakshatra from birth time on this visit unless you book separate jyotish.
Time at the house: One day or three nakshatra-day repeats
Pandit Mrityunjay Sharma performs this as a home visit in Bengaluru and nearby towns within about one hundred kilometres. Share your area, gate access, and preferred slot on WhatsApp; the samagri list is sent before the day. This page does not list fees or promise worldly results.
Why families book it
Birthdays in traditional families sometimes include annual nakshatra shanti.
Star worship is protective prayer, not astronomy class.
When families ask
- On yearly nakshatra birthday
- Before mundan for child
- When jyotish named star shanti elsewhere
- Marriage prep for bride or groom star
- After gandmool if broader star shanti advised
Days, jap, and havan
Repeating on each monthly nakshatra day is optional; many do one intensive day. Jap count and havan fixed in chat.
Send star name from prior jyotish or panchang app; priest uses it in sankalp only.
Star devata and graha may both be named in mantra without selling a new chart.
